Scenery

This isn't a natural scene, per se, but the color of these flowers is just too extraordinary to describe.

I slogged through this forest for a little while on the way to a castle.

Pretty much all of Wales looks just like the Shire from the Lord of the Rings. In fact, this photo was taken in Carmarthenshire.

This valley is west of Kyoto, and I wish I could fall in and never have to leave.

The Seto Inland Sea is a lovely place for a ferry ride at dusk.

Wales has its share of beachside resort towns. The skies cleared for approximately 30 minutes my day here.

This could be anywhere, couldn't it? It's still Wales.

They say the Valley of Furano on Hokkaido is much like France. I don't know about that, but with the flowers in bloom, it's beautiful. Hokkaido is not so much like the rest of Japan.
